Emergency closure notice for footpaths HB-768, Handbury and HI-531, Himbleton
PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2) (as amended)
WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
Notice of closure of Footpaths HB-768, Hanbury and HI-531, Himbleton,
(“the highway”) as an Emergency Measure.
It appears to Worcestershire County Council that because of the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of a bank erosion that is preventing access to weir crossing, there is an urgent need to close the highway immediately in the following terms: –
- The effect of the Notice is that no person shall proceed along Footpaths HB-768, Hanbury and HI-531, Himbleton for their entirety from their junction with C2149 Harmans Hill Street (GR: 395452 260852) to their junction with Footpaths HI-532 and HI-533 (GR: 395206 259891)
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days (unless further provision is made for its continuance). It is anticipated that it will remain in force for 21 days.
- The alternative route is along Footpath HI-532, Footpath HI-528, C2149 Harmans Hill Street.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
